What is a personal injury?
A personal injury is an injury to a person’s person or mental anguish or damage. These injuries can be due to either another individual’s negligence or due to an intentional harmful act performed by an antagonist. This type of injury is commonly called a “bodily injury.” While these injuries are generally heard in court, the majority of the time they fall well short of being a criminal action.
