If I’m injured while repairing something on a person’s property, do I have a cause of action?
Yes. If you were invited onto a person’s property to repair an item on the property like the plumbing or an electrical system or a broken stair rail, you have a cause of action under the general doctrine of premises liability. Because you were not a trespasser, the homeowner or property owner had a duty to warn you of any and all potential hazards on the property.
If you have been injured while on someone else’s property, contact the Harrisburg personal injury lawyers of Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C., at 610-667-7511.
