How many claims can I file at once?
A person can, and is encouraged, to file as many cases as he or she has against any particular defendant at the same time. Thanks to our liberal rules of joinder, this is possible. It is not encouraged to split one’s case, as the second case filed may be dismissed as having been part of the original claim.
