Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. has voluntarily recalled 300,000 “Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears” after concerns over the bear’s eyes became apparent.
According to the company, the Colorful Hearts Teddy Bears’ eyes can easily become loose and fall off, creating a choking hazard for young children. The bears that were part of the recall were manufactured between April 2011 and December 2011.
Anyone who purchased one of these bears is able to return it to a local Build-A-Bear location and select a replacement bear from the store.
