The Harrisburg personal injury lawyers of Lowenthal & Abrams, P.C. have learned that a college student who also works as an executive director at a nonprofit just added another job to his busy schedule, treasurer for the city of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The 23-year-old, John Campbell, was elected as the treasurer for the city and began his duties on January 3, 2012. The city of 50,000 is currently saddled with $317 million in debt. Campbell was given a yearly budget of $53 million for the city and is said to have numerous plans in order for Harrisburg to slowly rise out of debt.
