Friday evening, a fireworks accident occurred just outside Scranton at the PNC Field minor league baseball stadium in Moosic, Pennsylvania after the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game. The accident happened during the post-game fireworks display and left two pyrotechnics company employees injured.
The two workers’ names and injuries have not yet been released, however a family member of one of the workers told reports that they were in stable condition. A Pennsylvania state fire marshal and a team of investigators are looking into the cause of the accident that injured the two workers.
