An man in Philadelphia was killed and two others injured in an early morning car accident Monday.
According to officials with the Philadelphia Police Department, 18 year-old Francis Moll, of the 4900 block of Cottage Street in Frankford, was driving a car traveling on Torresdale Avenue when the fatal crash occurred. Shortly before 5:30 a.m. on the 4200 block of Torresdale Moll lost control of his vehicle and slammed into the back of a parked tow truck.
Moll was transported by Emergency Medical Services to St. Christopher's hospital for Children after the accident. He was pronounced dead about two-hours later.
The two passengers in the vehicle, a 24 year-old woman and a 17 year-old boy, were injured in the accident. The two were also transported to St. Christopher's where they were treated and released.
