Woman’s Leg Severed In Motorcycle Crash

A motorcyclist and hispassenger were seriously injured after they were hit by a car on River Road inSolebury, PA.

Police officials reportthat the Triumph motorcycle was heading northbound when it struck by a ToyotaCarrolla. The driver of the motorcycle, only identified as a 52-year-old man,and his passenger, a 51-year-old woman, were transported by helicopter toTemple University Hospital located in Philadelphia.

The female passenger wasthrown off the motorcycle in the crash damaging both of the riders left legs.Doctors were not able to save the woman’s severed leg.

The driver of the Toyotawas identified as a 52-year-old female from Trenton. Police detectives arestill investigating the accident.

3 Killed, 1 Critical After Central Pa. Crash

Three people are deadand one is in critical condition following a crash in a remote part of centralPennsylvania.

The accident occurredjust west of the Mifflinburg Resevoir, in Lewis Township, Union County.

According to police35-year-old Randall Boyer Jr. of Mifflinburg, 29-year-old Kimberly Carroll ofMiddleburg and a 9-year-old boy died in the crash Saturday when their pickuptruck went over a steep embankment and crashed into several trees.Sixteen-year-old Randall Boyer III was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, wherehe remains in critical condition.

Investigation into thecrash continues. Police say the crash was not discovered for some time after ithappened, due to the remoteness of the area.

Individual Killed in Hit and Run Accident

An individual in Pennsylvania has recently lost their life following a fatal hit-and-run incident.

According to reports,  the victim was found early morning by another driver.  That individual called authorities and officials rushed to the scene. Police believe that the victim was walking along the side of the road when  a northbound vehicle struck him.  It is not certain when the victim was struck and killed, or what type of vehicle struck the victim.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the accident to come forward.

Passenger thrown from SUV, dies in car crash

The driver of a sports utility vehicle lost control of the car, hit two guard rails, and flipped multiple times Friday. The SUV's passenger, Roger Gelnett of Harrisburg, was thrown from the vehicle and then hit by two cars traveling in the other direction, according to police reports. 

When medical officials arrived, they pronounced Gelnett dead at the scene of the accident. The SUV's driver, Donna Welborn, was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for minor injuries. When the accident occurred, neither Gelnett nor Welborn were wearing seatbelts, according to police reports.

Man Killed by Refrigerator

On Saturday night, a refrigerator accident occurred in the Allison Hill neighborhood. A man was moving the refrigerator down the stairs of a home when it slipped and pinned him against the wall of the second floor stairwell.

Just after 10pm Monday night, emergency crews responded to reports of a man pinned by a refrigerator. The man was found dead at the scene. According to the coroner, the man died of asphyxiation.

Crash Kills 2, Injures 3

On Tuesday morning, a three vehicle crash occurred in Union Township. Around 9am, an SUV traveling northbound along Route 443 crossed the center line and side swiped a minivan before striking another SUV head on.

Two people in the southbound SUV died immediately. Another passenger was critically injured and a 4 year old sustained minor injuries. The driver and passenger in the other SUV were also injured in the crash.
