'Operation Nighthawk' is being conducted this weekend in Pennsylvania.  This event will involve over 70 state police troopers and other officers patrolling the streets in numbers looking for individuals who are drunk driving.

The event comes one year after a police officer lost his life to a drunk driver while driving home.  

The event will start with a work shop and training course for the officers and state troopers to be better prepared in stopping drunk drivers.  After the three hour course,  the officers will group up and hit the streets.  The event will take place late at night from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.  The officers hope to make the road safer by reducing accidents and injuries related to drunk driving.
